Franklins is a friendly and long-established firm of solicitors in the centre of Abingdon, Oxfordshire.

We also provide the services of a Notary Public. We can arrange access to specialist help in most other areas of law, through the Connect2Law scheme.

offer a personal and high-quality service, whilst always aiming to
ensure that legal costs are proportionate and affordable. We are truly
independent and do not pay referral fees to estate agents to obtain
work, nor do we carry out volume work for insurance companies or
mortgage lenders. Your matter will be handled throughout by a legally
qualified professional.
Franklins was founded in 1983 by Jim Franklin, who had previously been in practice in Abingdon and Oxford in his grandfather’s firm of A. H Franklin. The present partners are John Cunliffe (commercial property), Julia Kent (residential property) and Helen Foreman (private client).
The
firm participates in the Will Aid scheme, where, for a limited period
each year, we provide a free will in exchange for a donation to charity.
